SMM Bulldog Soccer – Fall 2026 Registration Information

Registration for the 2026 Soccer Season is now OPEN and will close at the end of the school
year on June 10th.

The SMM Soccer Program offers three divisions based on grade level. Please note that one
registration form is used for all grades.

 

Program Structure (Co-Ed)
Varsity (7th–8th Grade)  CYM play
JV (5th–6th Grade) CYM Play
Junior JV / JV (3rd–4th Grade)  IHM League
 

Registration Notes
If you are a new player who:
Does not attend SMM, and
Is not an active parishioner

You must register with CYM first to obtain affiliation before completing SMM registration.

Player Evaluations (Grades 5–8)
Evaluation dates are TBD and will be communicated once scheduled.

• All players entering grades 5–8 are expected to attend at least one evaluation session
• These are skill evaluations, not tryouts
• Every player will be assigned to a team
  The evaluations help:
• Determine the number of teams needed
• Ensure proper player placement
• Support balanced and competitive teams
• Final rosters will be communicated by the coaching staff after evaluations are completed.

Important – Required for Evaluations
Before attending an evaluation session, each player must:
Print, complete, and sign the CYM Athletic Consent Form
Submit the form prior to participation
⚠️ Players cannot participate without this form

What to Bring to Evaluations
1. Water
2. Cleats
3. Shin guards
4. Mouth guard (required for players with braces)
5. Completed CYM Consent Form

 

Evaluation Overview

• Players will be evaluated on multiple aspects of the game
• Conditioning will be part of the evaluation process
• If sessions are rescheduled (e.g., weather), updates will be sent via email and posted on the SMM Sports website

Grades 3–4 Information

• Evaluations are not required for players in grades 3 and 4
• Rich Metz will coordinate the 3rd and 4th grade league this season
